mon Dieu 002 – Dj Pilot
Presenting Dj Pilot and his mix mon Dieu 002. This is an adventurous catalan sound narrative with a kind of analog style. The musical landscape is based on emotion and soulful voices. The blend is a selection of different genres with an undeniable connection in between. However different the sounds seem, they are all united in one common space.
The ear will comfortably be taken from hip hop to acid as well as from house to techno. An interesting element standing out is the variation, disturbance and fluctuation of tones. And as this is a mix quite out of the ordinary, a hot tip is to go all ears on the vocals. The voices share one common soul attaching the genres to one another. In this way the vocals make out a very important role as guideline taking us through this fearless work of sound.
